Our Mission:
To develop college-ready, real-world tested, civic leaders distinguished by excellent character.
How do we pursue this mission?
CFLA maintains a student-centered school culture in which students have primary responsibility for discipline and leadership. Within the framework of this philosophy, students and faculty work together to address non-productive attitudes and behaviors and to recognize excellence.
Students lead small group and grade level meetings, participating in teaching the basic character principles of the school. Each student takes responsibility, is held accountable for his or her own actions and decisions, and is constantly challenged in an action-reflection cycle to reflect on the Three Critical Questions:
1. Who am I?
2. Where am I going?
3. What do I need to get there?
Based on the Hyde School program, our character curriculum is focused on these five principles and five values:

I learn the most about myself by facing challenges and taking risks.
02/
Concern

04/
Integrity
I am gifted with a unique potential and conscience is my guide to discovering it.
05/
